Instead of using buttons, knobs and extraneous controls, the speaker of the radio acts as the only control.
Turning the speaker like a knob controls volume while sliding the speaker left or right controls the station frequency.

The electronic components were repurposed from an existing store-bought radio.
The speaker was rigged to slide on top of the frequency read-out and the volume knob was relocated to accompany the speaker.
Sketches show the resolution of form elements especially the relationship between the speaker and the body.
